Dr. Keys is an associate professor in the Department of
Information Systems in the College of Business at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. He teaches
in the areas of application development, database management systems and IT management. Currently
he is the instructor for the Fundamentals of Business Programming, Systems Anlaysis and Design and Seminar in Information Systems courses in the undergraduate curriculum.
His research interests are in information systems pedagogy, centering on simulation using role play and virtual worlds. Dr. Keys also plays an active role in curriculum reform and development within the IS department and across campus. He has been a member of INFORMS, AAAI and the Decision Sciences Institute.
Currently Dr. Keys is serving as Department Chair for the Information Systems department. He chairs the IS Department Scholarship Committee and is the College of Business Faculty Cordinator for the SAP University Alliance related ERP in the Curriculum initiative. He also serves as a member on the University Senate Technology Committee and the University Assessment Committee.
